Genuine leather "mini" medieval style book with clasps and wooden board covers. Makes a great prop for your next SCA or LARP event. An exquisite, handcrafted, extra small, blank book ready to be used for your next encounter with magic, spells, and the mystic world. It is meticulously created using genuine goatskin leather.

The book design is inspired by medieval gothic manuscripts (1300-1500 CE). However, this is not a simple replica but a genuine original work of art. It was meticulously made in my workshop.

The journal measures 4.5" x 3" (1.5 inches thick) in size. The book can be used for journaling, but the binding is a bit tight so it is better used as a prop or object of curiosity. The front and back covers showcase a blind tooled design and features two authentic handmade brass clasps. The covers are actual wood.

Within the journal, you'll find 50 leaves (100 pages) of 150 gsm weight, blank "antiqued" paper. This high-quality cotton rag paper is handcrafted by artisans in India. The book has been hand bound on three sewing supports and features hand-made two-color endbands. The inside cover-endpapers feature beautiful hand marbled paper. The slightly burnt aged paper edges give it an authentic antique look.
